Latest DotVVM extension for Visual Studio 2022 failing to load

Hello,

Recently, the extension started to not work anymore (v4.0.579.0) while the Visual Studio 2022 version did not change (Version 17.12.4). So I’ve upgraded to the latest DotVVM and DotVVM.AspNetCore (4.3.4) packages but still no luck (previously I had the 4.3.0 versions).
According to this: Release notes | DotVVM Documentation, it should work so I suspect a broken Visual Studio that would need reinstallation - which I want to avoid for now.

Typical modal window shown when VS loads and before I select a project to open. And is shown also when trying to access the extension from VS’s Extensions menu → DotVVM → About:

Thanks for reporting this. We are looking into the issue. Hopefully, we will have the fix ready today.

We have just published a new version 4.0.580.0 that should fix the issue. Please let me know if you experience any problems.

Hello @tomasherceg, I have the same error with VS version 17.13.1. Could you update the extension?

Apologies for the delay, we have just published the new build of the extension compatible with VS 17.13.1.

Thank you for the update, it works. Now I know where to find the compatibility information. I will wait for the DotVVM release first, and then update VS.
