[bp:GridView] Grouping Feature

The documentation page for the GridView says there will be “Grouping” added in a future release.

What is this planned feature and what is the status for it being released?

I think I have seen a prototype for it, it’s essentially just a fancy sorting with headings when the sort thing changes. I don’t think we are close to finishing it
